Guide to Selecting Souvenirs: Haishu District Unveils Top Ten Signature Gifts

Struggling to choose the perfect souvenir? Fear not, for a guide is here! Recently, the Haishu District Consumer Protection Committee, in collaboration with the Ningbo Municipal Consumer Protection Committee, hosted the Ningbo Warm Heart Consumption Initiative and the Haishu District First Edition Signature Souvenir On-site Evaluation Event. After rigorous on-site tastings and expert appraisals, the results of the Haishu District First Edition Top Ten Signature Souvenirs were officially announced.

 

 

The winners are categorized into three groups:

A souvenir embodies the heartfelt intentions of a city, representing its history, culture, and emotions. Haishu District, rich in historical and cultural heritage and natural resources, is home to both time-honored brands and modern craft enterprises leading fashion trends. To further promote the Haishu brand and deepen the "Rest Assured Consumption in Haishu" initiative, since March this year, the Haishu District Consumer Protection Committee has launched the First Edition Signature Souvenir Selection Event under the theme of "Promoting the Haishu Brand, Creating a Unique Calling Card." Through promotion, organization, and centralized evaluation, the event aims to select souvenir products that best represent Haishu's local cultural elements and iconic symbols.

 

 

After enthusiastic participation and initial screening, a total of 38 signature souvenirs from 22 enterprises were shortlisted, covering various categories such as cultural creativity, food production, household items, and leisure products. On April 19th, a public vote was initiated through the "Haishu Market Supervision" WeChat official account. By April 22nd, 24:00, the vote had garnered a cumulative participation of 120,000 people.

"We hope that through the selection of signature souvenirs, we can continuously empower local production enterprises, guide them to further cultivate quality and creativity, produce even more outstanding specialty products, and strive for rest assured consumption in Haishu," said a relevant official from the Haishu District Consumer Protection Committee.
